Alex was diagnosed with coeliac disease at 18 months old and, like many with food allergies, has had to navigate the challenges of dining out or ordering in. A self-proclaimed lover of food, he has felt the pressures of dining inequality. Whilst lying in a hospital bed recovering from an emergency organ transplant, TasteBuddy was born. His aim is simple- to create a global movement that champions freedom for people with dietary requirements to enjoy their dining experience without worry or concern.
